The ongoing effects of crime continue to have impacts on our region. This morning on local radio a national tourism expert said that some of the decisions behind Qantas' decisions for future reduction in services would be directly related to the issues in town.

Tourism Central Australia confirmed yesterday that Qantas will reduce seats into Alice Springs by up to 30,000. This just another kick in the guts to our tourism industry after everything else that has taken place.
