Sadly there is no good news for Alice Springs as far as any reductions in criminal behaviour. Crime continues to rise unabated against the community and the Gunner Labor Government can't and won't even admit there is a problem. Yet again we have a motion up before Parliament next week to speak about the increases in crime and its effects on our community and what the Gunner Labor Government are going to do to address it. Below is the full list of statistics for Alice Springs.

o Assault = ↑ 6% (1,923)

o Domestic violence related assault = ↑ 4% (1,181)

o Alcohol related assault = ↓ 0.5% (920)

o Sexual assault = ↑ 14% (81)

o House break-ins = ↑ 46% (943)

o Commercial break-ins = ↑ 60% (564)

o Motor vehicle theft = ↑ 27% (385)

o Property damage = ↑ 23% (2,389)

We will be calling on Michael Gunner to get himself to Alice Springs and actually front up to the people of our town and listen to what they have experienced, it would be his opportunity to tell them what he is going to do to stop this horrific increase in crime in our community.
